I have worked in the Care Sector for over 40 years in various roles. Initially working in Domiciliary Care progressing to working with Mental Health, Alcoholism, Homelessness, Learning Disabilities leading to taking on the role of Deputy Manager at Forrest House in 2007 and then taking the post of Manager in 2016.
From a very early age I showed signs of compassion, empathy and care which enforced my passion to then go on to work I the Care Sector. While working in my various roles I was able to support individuals to achieve independent lifestyles within the community. Assisting them to reach their inspired goals, while empowering them to have the confidence to try new things in their lives.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family friends, socialising, going on holidays and attending theatre shows and gigs.
